I was at the games and these gloves sold for $10 at the olympic store. They look nice, but the reason they are so cheap is that they fall apart quite easily and quickly. They look used and old in a short amount of time and the red yarn starts to fuzz.

These mittens are fun and a good conversation piece. They are warm, lined, and seem to be well made. They had the original tags and hologram; HOWEVER, the original tags had the price $10.00 [not visible or stated in the ad], but the business selling them put the price at $34+. With shipping, the mittens cost $43. Though I am enjoying the mittens, I feel a bit “taken” and am disappointed at being charged so much.

Gave these beautiful Canadian Olympic Mittens as a gift and the recipient was more than surprised, except they seem to run large. The quality is very good. Betty

My friends & I had seen the popular Canadian Olympic mittens and wanted them but didn’t know how to obtain them. I got right on Amazon.com and viola! I have them.

Yes, they were more expensive than the “home” price of $10 but well worth it.

I have the popular beret from the Salt Lake City Olympics and wanted the icon of these Olympic Games. Thank you!!!

This was the most wanted clothing item in Vancouver during the Olympic Games. Similar to the blue scarf that was sold at the Salt Lake Games, they were seen everywhere and worn by many people attending, including the athletes. They were originally designed to benefit the Canadian athletes, with portion of their proceeds going to assist them.

If you are wanting a collectible to remember the Vancouver Olympics that truly reflect the attitude of Vancouver, these are a good option. Just like the Canadian attitude to not flagrantly display their patriotim, they don’t garishly show the maple leaf emblem but have it sewn on the palm side. Comfortable and wearable, they represent a collectible piece of one of the most popular Winter Olympic games.
