In 1996 the USPS issued this 32 cent stamp to honor of the 100th anniversary of the Olympics, this stamp appropriately featured Myron's statue "Discobolus." Although the original bronze sculpture from 5th century B.C. no longer exists, several copies sculpted in marble during Roman times survive today.
